Trusting God Through Obedience
· Aps. Gift Ngoveni

Notes from our Apostolic Visitation. Topic: trusting God through obedience and embracing the new thing He is doing.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 43:18-19
Our role in the miracle of God
- God does not want us to remain trapped by our past experiences, failures, or former seasons. He calls us to release the old things because He is preparing to do something new in our lives.
- The Lord does not choose what we hold onto and what we let go of; rather, He instructs us to forget the former things because a new season is about to begin.
- When God speaks, His Word carries power. What He declares will come to pass because His promises are established by His authority.
- Perseverance does not mean that we must see everything God has promised immediately. It means continuing to trust Him and holding onto faith even when we only see a small part of what He is doing.
- We are called to be God’s fellow workers. God works through those who are willing, obedient, and committed to His purpose.
- Every season has a purpose. We must learn to trust God’s timing because He knows what is best for us.
- When God gives instructions, we must obey because His Word is not only guidance but also the foundation for our destiny.
Obedience and the power of God
- A miracle is not produced by human strength alone; it happens when God’s power meets our obedience.
- God can multiply what we already have when we place it in His hands.
- Our role is not only to receive God’s promises but also to understand our responsibility in fulfilling His purpose.
- Sometimes God is waiting for our obedience before releasing the miracle He has prepared.
Faith during challenges (Exodus 14:10-11)
- God does not call us to approach Him with fear and a spirit of defeat. He gives us His Word so that we can stand firm against challenges.
- Challenges are not always a sign that God has abandoned us; sometimes they are opportunities for our faith to grow.
- Your miracle may already be prepared, but your obedience is the key that unlocks it.
- When we carry the Word of God and live according to it, doors that seem impossible can be opened.
- While we are waiting for God’s promises, God is also working on our hearts and preparing us through obedience.
- When God becomes quiet in certain seasons, we should seek understanding and ask what He is teaching us instead of losing faith.
Waiting on God
- Waiting on God is not a sign of weakness; it is an act of faith and trust in His perfect timing.
- Waiting is a process where God prepares us for what He has planned.
- God’s timing is always purposeful. He is never late, and He knows the right moment to bring His promises to pass.
- When you have the Word of God, there is no need to rush. You are not running away from your enemies; you are moving towards your destiny.
- The waiting season builds patience, strengthens faith, and prepares us for greater responsibilities.
A message of encouragement
- Whatever the Lord is instructing you to do, obey His voice and follow His direction.
- Do not allow your past to limit your future. God is still able to do a new thing in your life.
- Trust the process, remain faithful, and remember that obedience creates a pathway for God’s miracles.
