The Light of God

“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.” John 1:9
The light of God (John 1:4-9)
- John came as a messenger to announce the coming of the One who would bring salvation to the world.
- In Jesus Christ there is life, and His life is the true light of mankind.
- Jesus is the true Light who came into the world to bring hope, truth and salvation.
- The light of Christ shines in the darkness, and darkness can never overcome it.
- Through Jesus, we receive spiritual life and guidance.
The light of God in creation (Genesis 1)
- In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
- The earth was without form and empty, and darkness covered the deep.
- God spoke, and His Word brought light into existence.
- God separated the light from the darkness, showing His authority over all things.
- God is the source of light, order and purpose.
- We are called to live as children of light.
- Everything that does not come from God will be revealed and separated by His light.
- God’s light brings clarity, direction and transformation into our lives.
“God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.” Genesis 1:5 (NKJV)
Jesus, the light of the world (Isaiah 60)
- The Word of God declares that His light has come upon His people.
- The glory of God shines through those who walk in His presence.
- The light of Jesus brings hope, strength and renewal.
- No challenge, struggle or darkness can overcome the light of God.
- God’s light exposes the hidden areas of our lives and brings healing and restoration.
- When we allow Jesus to lead us, we walk in His purpose and truth.
The light reveals truth (Ephesians 5:12-13, NIV)
- The light of God exposes the things that are hidden in darkness.
- Darkness represents the things that separate us from God’s will.
- God reveals hidden things not to condemn us, but to restore and transform us.
- Walking in God’s light helps us live a life of righteousness and obedience.
- As believers, we are called to reject darkness and reflect the character of Christ.
The everlasting light of God (Isaiah 60:20, NIV)
- God promises to be our everlasting light.
- The light of God never fades or disappears.
- When we trust in Him, He becomes our source of hope and strength.
- God’s presence guides us through every season of life.
- Those who walk with God will experience His protection and direction.
Walk in His light. For in Him there is life, hope and eternal light.
